Our Government Contracting consulting, training, and information services are available at no cost to Pennsylvania businesses, large or small, that possess the interest and potential to perform work — as a prime contractor or a subcontractor — for federal, state or local government agencies.
Consulting Services
Our free, confidential and valuable approach focuses on three phases of support:
Phase 1: Preparation
For companies new to government marketing.
The goals for this phase are:
- To gain an overview of how government agencies purchase goods and services
- Complete the requirements for registering as a government supplier
- Determine if government contracting is right for a company
Phase 2: Develop a Plan
For companies that have completed the activities in Phase 1.
The goals for this phase are:
- To develop or modify a government marketing strategy
- Learn what programs and resources are available to support the marketing strategies
- Develop a critical value proposition and branding
- Commit resources to execute the marketing plan
Phase 3: Execute the Plan
For companies that are procurement ready.
The goals for this phase are:
- Execute, evaluate and modify government marketing efforts
- Modify company operations as required to support contracts that are compliant with government regulations
Training Events
Procurement Specialists strive to bring the most relevant and informative workshops and training opportunities to help navigate the government procurement process and identify the critical steps in winning government contracts. Our training events cover a wide range of government contracting topics at the federal, state, and local government levels, and are taught by industry experts who have many years of government contracting experience. Nominal fees may apply for some workshops and events.
